This is a part time (temp to perm) position.

Our client, who has been established for well over 30 years, is seeking a part time Receptionist / Administrator to join their team in High Wycombe.  You must enjoy working in a fast paced environment, as this is a front of house role, co-ordinating a wide range of front desk activities.  You must be bright/enthusiastic and be willing to help out around the office as and when required.

Duties of the role will include:

  • Greeting/welcoming visitors on arrival to the office
  • Answering the phone/re-directing calls/distributing correspondence
  • Meeting/greeting/directing visitors to the appropriate person/office
  • Overseeing the post and deliveries
  • Ordering office supplies and keeping a stock inventory
  • Booking meetings and updating calendars
  • Arranging travel and accommodation
  • Updating internal files and records
  • Offering administration support across the organisation
  • Any ad-hoc administration to support various departments
  • Ensuring a tidy reception area at all times


Special Requirements: 
  • Proven background working as a Receptionist or extensive customer related experience
  • Professional/confident/pleasant telephone manner with a smart appearance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Clear and efficient communication and organisational skills
  • A self-thinker with a practical approach to completing work load
  • Confident/proactive under pressure
